Five New Leaders Join Indonesia’s National Nutrition Agency Under Presidential Appointment
Kabarsaji.com – The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has completed a significant restructuring of its top-tier leadership positions, bringing in five new officials to oversee operations. These appointments, equivalent to Echelon I level roles, aim to enhance the administration of the Free Nutritious Meal initiative across the country.
Presidential Decree Brings Fresh Leadership
BGN Deputy Head Agustina Arumsari confirmed that President Prabowo Subianto personally selected all five appointees through an official presidential decree issued on Monday, July 20, 2026. The announcement was made during a media briefing held at the agency’s Jakarta headquarters on Tuesday.
“Yesterday, we received a presidential decree signed by Mr. President appointing them as senior officials in the BGN,” said Agustina during the press conference.
System and Governance Sector Gets New Deputy
Among the appointments, Prima Yosephine Berliana Tumiur Hutapea takes on the role of Deputy for the System and Governance Sector, succeeding Tigor Pangaribuan. Prior to joining BGN, she held the position of Director of Infectious Diseases within the Ministry of Health.
Her responsibilities will center on refining how beneficiary information is managed throughout the program. According to Agustina, this encompasses everything from initial planning and target establishment to distributing resources from central offices to local service points, maintaining detailed records of recipients by name and location, and conducting ongoing assessments of program outcomes.
Other Key Appointments
Zainuri has been named Deputy of the Provision and Distribution Sector, filling the vacancy left by Suardi Samira. His background includes work as an auditor, where he previously collaborated with Agustina at the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency’s Financial Bureau.
Mariman Darto joins as Deputy of the Promotion and Cooperation Sector, bringing experience from his previous role as an Expert Staff member specializing in Talent Management.
Ketut Sumedana, formerly the Head of the South Sumatra High Prosecutor’s Office, assumes the position of Deputy of the Monitoring and Supervision Sector.
Completing the group is Lili Khamiliyah, who transitions from her role as Head of the BGN’s General and Financial Bureau to serve as the agency’s Chief Secretary.
